The world President of the Lebanese Cultural University in the world has sent a telegram to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Amr Moussa, on the occasion of the Conference to be held on Saturday, 4 December 2010 at the university headquarters in Cairo for Arab expatriates under the title: "Arab Expatriates bridge communication Cultural and civilizational-the Arab diaspora in the mind and conscience of the Arab world ";
"We learned that a con
ference will be held on Saturday, 4 December 2010, at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo for Arab expatriates under the title:" Arab expatriates are a bridge of cultural and civilizational communication–the Arab diaspora in the mind and conscience of the Arab world, "and that a Lebanese delegation headed by the Director General Al-Magot was composed May Mr. Haitham Juma.
We, the Secretary-General, fully know what you are doing to serve Lebanon at all levels and the efforts you have made in the most difficult circumstances. We are also aware of the efforts that are currently being made to establish an Arab group that is capable of proving its presence in all forums, especially in these fateful circumstances.
On the other hand, we know that we, as a Lebanese cultural university in the world and representatives of the largest number of Lebanese expatriates in the world, have reached nothing in this regard and that the Lebanese delegation formed to participate on behalf of Lebanon represents only a small fraction of them residing in Lebanon.
We would like to inform you that the 16th World Congress of the Lebanese Cultural University of the world was held in Mexico City on 26 October 2009, and elected a new World Council for the University under our chairmanship.
The Secretary-General, we place all our potential at your disposal in view of our associations, institutions and branches on all continents of the world, and call upon you to succeed in this conference. "
