The Goodwill Ambassadors establish the connection between Live Lebanon and individuals, private sectors, and companies that want to contribute to the cause. The relationships that the Goodwill Ambassadors form for Live Lebanon make projects possible by providing essential funds for different initiatives.

ALBERT MATTA

Institutional Goodwill Ambassador



Mr. Albert Matta was born in Bhamdoun 1938. He is married to Dr. Claire Hanna. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the American University Of Beirut and a Master Degree in Geographical Engineering  from Delft University. He is the owner of numerous investments in Real Estate in Lebanon, UAE and France. He’s also the Dean of the Lebanese Community in Abu Dhabi, the ex member of ‘Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development’, the former President of  ‘Lebanese Business Council’ and ‘World Lebanese Cultural Union’. 


In addition to his Engineering Achievements, he holds many ranks such as: Order Of Lebanese Cedar with a Knight’s rank, Order of Lebanese Silver Palm and National French Order of Merit with a knight rank.


 





BOURAN BOUERY

Goodwill Ambassador for Western Europe

Mrs. Bouran Bouery is an active member of the Lebanese expatriate community, especially in countries of Western Europe. Residing in Monaco since 1987, she is founder and director of Les Amis du Liban in Monaco, a nonprofit organization seeking to support disadvantaged communities in Lebanon. Through her work, Mrs. Bouery has helped thousands of unprivileged Lebanese, especially in supporting issues related to health and children’s education.

In addition to her numerous contributions, Mrs. Bouery is an accomplished businesswomen, operating and managing her own fashion store in Monaco.




SAADA FAKHRY

Goodwill Ambassador for Ghana, Africa


Mrs. Saada Fakhry is a prominent member of the Lebanese expatriate community in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. Despite having emigrated from Beirut to Ghana where she has been a permanent resident for almost 40 years now, Mrs Fakhry has established and managed to maintain strong links with high-profile figures in both the local and Lebanese communities. She has also supported numerous humanitarian projects for Lebanon through her fund-raising efforts in the region. She has been actively involved in various charities and is a co-founder of HOPE (Help the Orphans, the Poor and the Elderly), a UK-based organization providing aid and support for underprivileged women and children in Lebanon. Mrs Fakhry recently co-founded an education center in Southern Lebanon with her husband, Saied Fakhry. The center focuses on the development of a cultural and educational program for the local community, providing free tuition in computer technology, languages, music and art.





GHALEB FARHA

Mr. Ghaleb Farha, has been in the Emirates for over 45 years and involved in various line of businesses i.e. Interior Fit-outs, Chemicals, Hotels & Hospitality Industry, Clinics etc.

A prominent businessman, Mr. Farha owns Cloisall which has its head office based in Dubai with branches in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Amman, Oman and Bahrain. The company has around 20 Lebanese Sales employees– all University graduates and has around 300 labourers. Also, Mr. Farha operates 3 well reputed Poly-Clinics in Dubai with a total strength of 15 Medical Doctors.

Concerning memberships and achievements, Mr. Farha is Vice Chairman of building Material Group, which was organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Farha also serves as the Finance Chair of the World Presidents Organization (WPO) – an international Association of Presidents of Companies who meet regularly for educational and commercial benefits.




ELIAS SAAD

Goodwill Ambassador for Nigeria


Elias C. Saad, a Lebanese-Nigerian real estate builder and developer, has accomplished various construction projects worldwide over the past 40 years. He is currently Chairman and Senior Executive for several companies in various business sectors. He is energetic, assertive, and has a great positive influence on the people revolving around him.


Mr. Saad’s personal goals were always grander than those of everyone around him. With his avant-garde architectural designs, unparalleled ambition and unmatched hard work, he was able to develop an empire of residential and commercial buildings, and urban compounds. His achievements have earned international recognition and captured the attention of many influential people.


Mr. Saad’s name has been associated with several successful and expanding companies all around the world.


In Nigeria, he is the Chairman & owner of “ Eko Pearl Nig Ltd”, a development company; “Ratcon Construction Co”, a construction company; “Premont Investment”; “Elseji Telecom Nigeria”, a telecom company; “Yasnas Nig Ltd”, a piling company; “Ocean Land”, a transport company; “Bon-Bois Nig Ltd”, a furniture company; “My Joy Food Nig Ltd”, a company involved in the food industry; and “C.D.K. Nig Ltd”, a company concerned in the ceramic industry.


In Lebanon, Mr. Saad is the Executive Chairman of “ESLA”, a Development/Contracting company. He is also a shareholder in the “First National Bank”. Mr. Saad is also a shareholder and Chairman in “CDK Integrated Industries”, as well as “Star Industrial”.


Mr. Saad has other ventures in South Asia, Bangladesh. He is a board member and shareholder in “Rakeen Development Co”; Rakeen BD was incorporated in Bangladesh in 2008, focusing in providing international standard real estate ranging from mix residential, commercial & recreational facilities including Hotels & Spa resorts. He is also the Chairman of “ESLA Construction Co Bangladesh”, a company that develops mega real estate projects in Bangladesh; and “In Mobiles Telecom Bangladesh”, a telecom company.


In Moldova, he is Chairman of “In Mobiles Telecom Moldova”, a telecom Company.


Mr. Saad remained consistently involved in humanitarian actions, and made several contributions to society through charitable institutions and the United Nations Development Programme Organization. Since 2011, he serves as the Goodwill Ambassador of the UNDP in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and continues to promote and support community development. 





FADI SALAMEH

Goodwill Ambassador

Mr. Salameh started his career in advertising right after graduating from Ottawa University in 1980. After over 30 years in the industry and a history of major successes, Mr. Salameh has positioned himself as one of the most important advertising and marketing communications professionals in the region. Mr. Salameh was, until recently, the President and CEO of Middle East Communication Networks (MCN), which is the largest network of advertising, marketing communications and media agencies in the Middle East and North Africa.

Mr. Salameh is now a well-known established business personality in Lebanon, and his esteem and positive reputation is spread across the Lebanese Diaspora.  His most recent projects have been the establishment of Cameleon Event Management Company and the C Flow Beach Resort.

Throughout his career, Mr. Salameh has initiated several key social responsibility initiatives. Additionally, he has tirelessly promoted the Lebanese cause for community building amongst his fellow expats.

Mr. Salameh is the General Secretary and a Member of the Board of the Lebanese Economic Forum, a private non-profit organization founded to promote economic development based on private initiative within the framework of a liberal economy.

He was nominated Live Lebanon Goodwill Ambassador in 2010 and he was lately nominated as Chairman of Radio Liban Libre besides being the GM of LITS.
