Remembering the Late World president Shiekh Eid Chedrawi, By Farid Makarim (World Past president)

Dear All colleagues and friends,

WLCU, has had lost a good brother, a good friend, a good Lebanese Immigrant, and a good Lebanese Citizen, by the passing away of Shiekh Eid Chedrawi, whom he had served as World President of our WLCU during the period 2009-2012.

His era and his leadership was a very productive period in the life of our Organization.

He had toured the world by visiting our great Lebanese Immigrants-worldwide-he left a big trace behind him, by installing and fixing our Lebanese Statues, projecting the Lebanese Immigrants,s great Achievements in most of the great Cities of the world.

During such visits and products, the Flag of Lebanon was on the top of such missions. He brought the Lebanese Immigrants closer to each other’s. He brought the Lebanese Immigrants closer to our beloved Lebanon and he brought the Lebanese Immigrants closer to the governments and citizens of their residing countries.

I witnessed all what I have mentioned above, because I was one of his world vice presidents and is good to mention the goodness and the good deeds of our colleagues.

With submission to our God,s Will, we offer our deep Condolences to ourselves and our Deep Condolences  to his active wife Haifa-who shared most of all his efforts-and to his children.

May God give you all, long productive life, and may God rest his soul in peace.
