Rose Karam, the mother of Dr Anis Karam ( former World Vice president ) died in Lebanon.

Rose, Anis’ Mother, passed away about 10:30 PM our time (PDT) Tuesday. Incredibly sad! Even though we knew she would be leaving soon, it’s still so painfully shocking. And Anis has only been back here for a week. He returned on February 29. I wish he stayed to be with his family at this time. But he didn’t know. No one knew. Now he’s so sad and so confused. I know that whatever decision he makes will be the right one. I think he will stay and go back for the 40 day mass.
May she rest in peace.
She was unstoppable.

What a void there is without her… so quickly.

The mother is everything – you, Rose, are everything to your family. She is our consolation in sorrow, our hope in misery, and our strength in weakness. You are Mother to all of us. You have always given one hundred percent to your family, to your work, when you play, when you love. You have always amazed me with your strength and love. You are a beautiful woman!
