And this one is a heartbreaking account of one of Lebanon’s train conductors,Mr Assaad Namroud, now 85 and abandoned by the country and government he served for almost 50 years.

Mr Namroud said: a state without a train is not a state. i stqated working at the age of 17 as an apprentice conductor of the train, at age 27 after a practical exam the “engineer” choose ma as master conductor.
