Australian Lebanese Beauty Contest 2013

Congratulations to my friend Joseph Khoury, OAM and to the Future Newspaper on a splendid and successful Miss Lebanon Australia Beauty Contest 2013 which my wife and I had the pleasure of attending at the downtown  Doltone House.

The venue was literally packed with numerous VIPs from the Multicultural Community across New South Wales such as Toufic and Jackie Kayrouz, President of the Maronite Catholic Society; Dyldam CEO and my childhood friend Joe and Mrs Khattar; Mrs Ahlam Harb; Joe and Maggie Peter Khoury, former President of the MCS and ALA; Khal Asfour, Mayor of Bankstown, Stepan Kerkyasharian, CRC Chair, Salim and Mrs Chdiac, just to name a very few.

And in addition to the majestic location of the Doltone House, overlooking Sydney Harbour, this event in my view could be likened to the Grammy Awards or Murex D’or or similar events we usually watch on Television: very professional, extremely well-organised and the ambiance was way out.

It is high time the Lebanese Authorities recognise the efforts of the Beauty Contest Director, Joseph Khoury and start giving “its bread to be baked by the professional baker”.

Highly impressed
