LARP III Announcement

Solidarity with Lebanon – Neutrality brings Prosperity.

The Executive Committees of the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) in the USA and in Lebanon announce its third business mission to Lebanon and the LARP III conference in collaboration with the American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut to take place October 31 – November 2, 2013. Our motto this year is Solidarity with Lebanon – Neutrality brings Prosperity.

The objectives of the trip are to increase communications between Lebanese businessmen and women in the Americas with the homeland; facilitate business opportunities between businesses in Lebanon and their counterparts in the Americas; and assist the private and public sectors to foster projects that stimulate economic growth and provide grants that aid local governments and non-profit organizations. This particular LARP mission also will support the Lebanese fire fighting department in improving their volunteer services to the Lebanese people.

Several local and international dignitaries have been invited to speak on four different panels on the following topics: Environment in Lebanon: Responsibility and Improvement; Education in Lebanon: a comprehensive analyses; Electricity, Gas and Oil: who will benefit? There will be keynote speakers at the opening ceremony, the gala dinner and the luncheon. The program and registration form are available on the LARP website, as well as information on LARP I & II.

LARP is committed to supporting the civil society and civic institutions of Lebanon, to lifting up the spirit of the Lebanese people, to promoting economic growth, to fostering peace, stability, neutrality and democratic institutions in Lebanon in an effort to enhance the sovereignty, independence and freedom of the Republic of Lebanon.
