Celebrating the International Day of the Lebanese Emigrant 2017 in  British Columbia

The Lebanese Canadian Society of BC ( WLCU-BC council), under the patronage of the Embassy of Lebanon in Ottawa – H.E. Counsellor & Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Sami Haddad, would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the International Day of the Lebanese Emigrant 2017.  

The event is free however, we request that you RSVP to guarantee a seat by replying back to this email.

7:30pm-9:00pm Opening of the “International Lebanese Short Film Festival Part 2” 
9:00pm-9:30pm Official announcements; Introduction of local officials and out of town delegates.
9:30pm-10:30pm Reception
From 3:30pm-4:30pm, the official delegation, including out of town delegates, will be visiting the “Lebanese Memorial Square” at Queen Elizabeth Park (Location of Cedar tree/benches). Everyone is welcome to attend for a photo souvenir.


The International Day of the Lebanese Emigrant 2017 is sponsored by the CCSMC (SFU) and WLCU-BC Council.
