Letter from Mr. Maher Nasser, Director of the Outreach Division of the Department of Public Information.

Already three years of the online publication: “the Lebanese Heritage” and we would like to hear your opinion:   How are we doing?
This question was sent to members and friends, we would like to share with you 3 answers only:

Simon Fraser University:( World Literature) Professor Ken Seigneurie:

“…Even though I’m not Lebanese, I am one who is interested in Lebanon and I appreciate the non-sectarian, intelligent approach of the “the Lebanese Heritage” publication. I especially appreciate the historical documents on a range of topics, for example, about the Jews of Lebanon. Most recently, I read Selim Abu’s 2001 speech (in English!) that is as fresh and courageous today as it was then. Many thanks for this great service!

Warm regards,

Ken “

“…I recently ran across your website and have enjoyed all the articles I have seen. I added the website to the Triangle Lebanese Association and I have put it in our newsletter to direct people to your website, as I think many people would enjoy reading it.

I think it’s just a matter or time before the word spreads more about the website. I am happy to help any time….

Thank you again for a wonderful website and I am helping spreading the word as much as possible.
