WLCU World President Mr. Michel Doueihi sent letters to President General Michel Sleiman, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, urging them “to implement the right of emigrants to vote according to the draft resolution approved by the Parliament in 2008.”
Doueihi hoped “to put an end to the state of confusion used by some parties for political malicious purposes, and that being the Registration of Lebanese descendants in the diplomatic missions without removing the registered name from the voting lists in Lebanon. I hope that this subject will be circulated to these missions especially that the deadline for registration is approaching.”
