Mr. Maher Nasser Director of Outreach Division, DPI in NY, visited Vancouver on the 11th of March 2012, to address the World Model United Nations that took place in Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel.
Mr. Nasser had a great meeting with Dr. Nick Kahwaji (WLCU World Secretary General), where they discussed many subjects, on top of the way, NGOs as WLCU could participate with the Outreach Division to better promote the values of the United Nations.
In this occasion, Mr. Nasser had the chance to visit the Lebanese Memorial at Queen Elisabeth Park and also the Monument of Kahlil Gibran at Simon Frazer University (SFU)
