January 6th 07 was 125th birthday of Khalil Gibran, born (Gibran Khalil Gibran) in Besharri, Lebanon on January 6, 1883. Gibran’s prophetic writing and visionary art continue to inspire people of all cultural backgrounds, around the world. The World Lebanese Cultural Union, has declared 2008 a year to celebrate the life and work of our beloved Gibran. Here in Boston, the place were Gibran grew up, we are planning events and activities to honor him . These events will take place during the year .
