The Lebanon County Heritage Trail has gained the support of every Lebanon County municipality, the Lebanon Valley Conservancy recently announced.
Each municipality within the county has signed a resolution supporting the 100-mile driving trail throughout the county, according to the Conservancy.
The Heritage Trail’s purpose is to attract tourism to the county, support local initiatives to enhance the visual impact of the route, maintain the natural resources and intrinsic qualities along the route and educate residents and visitors about the history and culture of the Lebanon Valley.
The Conservancy has developed a City of Lebanon Walking Tour as part of the Heritage Trail Project and is moving forward with additional walking tours and informational material for other municipalities.
