Dear Mr Victor Bustani Moukarsel, President of Centro Libanes Mexico.
Dear Mr Carlos Matuk and Lebanese-Mexican Friends
With Pride and Happiness I was delighted to visit Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui, along with Mr Farid Makarem (Past World Vice President of WLCU )to present him a token of appreciation on your behalf and on the behalf of the WLCU-British Columbia council ,for issuing the Lebanese emigrant stamp.
Minister Sehnaoui informed us that he always admired the Huge Lebanese emigrant statue in Beirut, while he pass by, going to his office at the ministry of Telecommunications. And from now on he is delighted to install the bronze copy of the El Emigrante Libanes on his desk, to keep it close to him.
Mr farid makarem thanked the minister for issuing the stamp in honor of the lebanese emigration, while Dr Kahwaji informed him about the symbol of the statue, how it was designed by a Mexican lebanese artist, and how the Centro Libanes installed copies all over Mexico and later with a joint ventures with WLCU, we were able to install it in many part of the world in an ongoing project .
